As a trained actor, then director and trainer in the socio-cultural sector, Sam Khebizi created, the “Les Têtes de l’Art” association in 1996, a structure dedicated to artistic mediation that he continues to run today.
Developing a multi-disciplinarian approach, his work lies at the intersection of culture, popular education and social economy. Following a professional dissertation at the “Arts et Métiers” school in Paris in 2008 on supporting participative artistic practices, he extended his “research-action” approach to the field of mutualisation practices in the cultural sector.
Sam Khebizi also participates in a number of work groups and regularly organises conferences or training workshops.

Xavier Bonnot is currently the president of the “Landes Musiques Amplifiées” association. His career lead him to work on the organisation of the national Forum of modern music in Nancy.
He was also administrator and editions manager in the Irma, the Information and Resources Centre for Modern Music, and more recently Project manager for Ufisc-the Federal Intervention Union for Cultural Structures.

After ten years as assistant-director of the “Pôle de Ressources Jazz et Musiques du Monde, Musiques de Nuit”, in Aquitaine, Stéphane Blanchon is now Director of Cultural Affairs of the city of Ambarès-et-Lagrave, Conurbation of Bordeaux.
More specifically in charge of the “Pôle Culturel Ev@sion”, a virtual meeting place for artistic practices, funded within the framework of the ERDF AXE2 call for projects on digital culture, he has developed an original mission between local public action and professional networks. Territories are changing, in particular on the right bank of the Bordeaux conurbation, calling for the reworking of project balances and the involvement of local authorities in innovative experimental frameworks, beyond the issues of diffusion. He is moreover Grand Advisor to the Amsterdam Cultural Foundation, and president of “Migrations Culturelles Aquitaine Afrique”, a key operator in African fine arts and lectures in different university courses on town policies and international networks.

The Court-cir’Q.I association was created, upon the initiative of Pierre Dodet, by 5 people working in agricultural, social or cultural sectors.
Having worked in associative musical production himself (booking, record production) Pierre Dodet wished to use his skills and his network of artists for the benefit of innovative initiatives in the small-scale and organic farming sector.
The Court-cir’Q.I project consists in organising events on farms, drawing the general public onsite where they can explore farming practices (respect for the environment, development of direct channels with consumers) and performing arts.

La Compagnie à table is organised around three axes : the creation of contemporary shows, training via artistic practice workshops and diffusion within the framework of its apartment festival “En aparté”. The audience is placed at the centre of the process relying upon interactivity, participative processes and exploring new forms of direct diffusion.
Clara Le Picard questions reality and the contemporary world. For her, as an artistic and political process, art is a way of getting people to think, of offering visions of our daily life. The question of the relationship with the audience lies at the heart of her creativity as her projects often come to life in locations that are not dedicated to the performing arts.

Jacques Mattei is a specialist of sustainable development and territorial and urban development. He is a former thematic expert for the URBACT European Commission network on the themes: regeneration of urban fabric, project governance, integrated approach, citizen participation, public-private partnership. He also acts as an expert for the European Federation of Napoleon Cities presided over by Charles Napoléon.
Jacques Mattei is the cofounder of the International Centre for Sustainable Development and the Environment (CIDDE) and a consultant at the European meeting and exchange centre for artcrafts and design (CITEMA) in Tuscany (Italy). He also shares his expertise with the “R.E.M.P.A.R.T.” project between the cities of Taroudannt in Morocco and Romans sur Isère in France.

The CITEMA aims to enhance and promote artcrafts, encouraging transmission and the sharing of know-how, facilitating the networking of professionals, public and private organisations and structures in the sector of artcrafts and design.
As a partner of the Sostenuto project, CITEMA is experimenting the creation an “Artcrafts and Design” cluster. This experiment has been set up in a rural area located between Tuscany and Umbria (Italy), grouping together twelve towns that are seeking to boost economic activity within their territories.
A Master’s graduate in "European Cultural Management" from Paris 3 university - La Sorbonne, the director, Maité Mazel, created CITEMA in 2006, after having worked as cultural program manager of cultural centres in Africa.

After completing his higher education in Bordeaux (contemporary history and “Management of Cultural Actions”) Sébastien Paule created illusion & macadam in 2002 in Montpellier, a structure that he has been managing ever since. Illusion & macadam combines management for cultural enterprises, a training centre for the technical and administrative professions of performing arts and a production office for stage arts.
In 2007, he initiated the project SMartfr, an online platform of administrative management tools for artistic activities coupled with a solution for the legal accommodation of activities. He is also honorary president of the “sound” festival “Montpellier à 100%”.

Trempolino is a resource structure based in Nantes. It supports cultural artists and stakeholders of modern music in Pays de la Loire via actions and structures that encourage resource information, training and professional insertion, project economy support, artistic practices within territories. Tremplino’s culture and social economy mission carries incubators, access to credit mechanisms, economic groupings... claiming an ethical, social and non-profit culture.

Created in 1995, ECONCULT is a branch of Valencia University and of the Interuniversity Institute for Local Development. Founder of AMI (Centre de Développement pour les Musiques Actuelles), Ferdinand Richard is involved in a number of both local and international cultural organisations. He was a pioneer of La Friche la Belle de Mai in Marseille from its origins in 1992 and is the current President of the Roberto Cimetta Fund working towards the mobility of artists and cultural operators throughout the Mediterranean.
Amongst his multiple involvements, he is an expert on the (United Cities and Local Governments “Agenda 21 for Culture” commission.

In 2008, the A.M.I. association launched, within the Friche La Belle de Mai in Marseille, the CADO (Cellule d’Appui au Développement des Opérateurs) incubator for cultural activities and enterprises. This initiative contributes to the regional cultural sector whilst seeking to develop international networking.
The CADO incubator is a long term support structure (1 year renewable), offering targeted meetings, training and mutualisation of means and skills. It is managed by Joseph Richard-Cochet and coordinated by 2 project managers, Maud Dissescou and Greg Duvernay.

Former director of VIC festival for six years, former Cultural attaché of the town hall of Barcelona, member of the European Forum of World Music Festival, Carles Sala has, thanks to his political endeavours, brought about changes in the municipal ordinances, allowing live music and shows to be organised in bars throughout Barcelona.
“L’instituto de Cultura de Barcelona” was created by the town council (l’Ayuntamiento de Barcelona) in 1996, to place culture at the centre of the town’s economic development. It ensures the good management of municipal cultural services and equipments and facilitates the emergence and consolidation of cultural projects.
Katarina Slukan, Ljubljana - Slovenia

Katarina Slukan is graduated from social pedagogy at the Faculty of Education in Ljubljana, Slovenia. During her studies she was an active member and initiator of several short term projects, related to innovative methods in social interventions. She joined Bunker by chance, but since she has become an essential member of its creative team. In Bunker she has been responsible for a number of different tasks: administrative and financial executor, producer, volunteers coordinator (for over 100 volunteers) and project leader. Most recently, her main subjects of work have become art and cultural education and participatory projects.
Bunker’s non-governmental organisation administrates Stara mestna elektrarna, at once a theatre dedicated to performance arts and the former Ljubljana electrical production plant. Bunker produces different types of contemporary performances, organising each year the Mladi levi international festival as well as training courses and actions related to the professional sector.

After 7 years spent as the director of cultural affairs for the City of Grenoble, Helga Sobota joined the Ardèche general Council in 2005.
Her commitment to public cultural services nourished by former professional experiences in the fields of education, social sciences and research, have built her awareness of the thousand and one ways in which the desire for culture can be nurtured, artistic demands can be shared and the necessary conditions created to build cultural policies with the world of culture and its partners. As a member of the board of “Culture et Départements” and of the CLIDAC (Liaison office for Territorial Directors of Culture ), she recently published an article – “De la tâche de l’artiste au service public de la culture” – a contribution to Jean-Jacques Gleizal’s “Administration et politique, une pensée critique sans frontière” (PUG, 2009).
